Toy Train Track Optical Illusion

Two identical pieces of wooden train track appear to be longer (or shorter) than the other when arranged one on top of the other. This illusion was discovered by American psychologist Joseph Jastrow during the late 19th century. As such, it is commonly referred to as the "Jastrow Illusion".
